Method

  • 1. Chop the nuts into small chunks. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
  • 2. Spread onto a non-stick sheet evenly and dehydrate at 105~115°F/41~46°C for about 8 hours.
  • 3. Flip it onto a mesh screen and dehydrate until completely dry. Enjoy with nut or seed milk!!

Sprouting Buckwheat Yields 2 cups   Wash 1 cup buckwheat groats thoroughly. Soak in more than 3 times water for about 6 hours. Drain the soaked water and rinse off the sliminess until the water runs clear. Drain thoroughly. Leave at room temperature covered with a towel on top. Rinse well in a running water 2-3 times in a day. In a few days, you will see the groats with little “tails.” It is ready to use for the recipes which call for “sprouted buckwheat.” You can also dry groats in a dehydrator without any flavor, for that simple, crunchy buckwheat salad topping or snack.
